Mission
As a faith-based life coach and biblical counselor located near Greenville, SC, my mission is to walk alongside others with biblical truth, Spirit-led encouragement, and practical support—helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families overcome life’s challenges and grow in their walk with God.
I offer coaching in areas such as anger, anxiety, addiction, family dynamics, parenting, stress, and purpose—always through the lens of Scripture and with a heart to see people set free and walking in truth. I also provide virtual faith-based life coaching and virtual biblical counseling as well!

About Rev. D.J. Sheppard
I’m D.J. Sheppard—husband, father of seven, licensed minister with the IPHC, and a faith-based life coach near Greenville, SC, passionate about helping others walk in freedom, truth, and purpose. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and have worked in the mental health field since 2006. My experience spans a wide range—from counseling teens and children through trauma, to supporting families navigating behavioral struggles, to mentoring couples and individuals seeking healing and clarity.At Beacon, I offer a unique space for those who need more than a brief pastoral conversation but aren’t seeking—or ready for—clinical therapy. Through biblically grounded coaching, I help individuals, couples, and families process real-life struggles with the truth of God’s Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.In addition to life coaching, I offer premarital counseling using the Prepare/Enrich assessment, equipping couples with tools for lasting unity and joy. For those planning their wedding, I also provide officiant services—ensuring your ceremony is rooted in Scripture and guided with purpose.This is not about quick fixes. It’s about transformation through the power of Scripture, the presence of God, and practical support. My heart is to help you navigate life with confidence, healing, and clarity—anchored in biblical truth and led by purpose.

Payment Options
The standard fee for coaching services is $75 per session.
As Beacon is not a state-licensed counseling provider, we do not accept insurance. Payment is due 24 hours before each session and can be made via cash, check, PayPal or Venmo.
Checks should be made payable to Beacon Services, LLC with “coaching” in the memo line.If you are experiencing financial hardship, you may apply for financial assistance. While we aim to make services accessible, support is limited and awarded based on available funds—Beacon is not able to operate at a deficit.
If you would like to contribute toward helping others receive coaching at a reduced cost, donations are welcome via the above mentioned options and will be used to support the Beacon Care Fund.
